Mayi crash-landed into the Between, a world where dreams are real and full of power. This makes dreams valuable and what Mayi has is worth a fortune, but that's not what she wants.

Mayi is desperate to get home again. The Monger offers to help for a price. He wants her dream and so do the twisted, distorted creatures watching in the shadows. Mayi uses every bit of strength and cunning she has to find her way out of the Between.

But, going home doesn't make her life normal or safe.

Carla Carafelli lives in Michigan. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and son. Between Now and Never is her debut middle grade novel. This story began years ago as an illustrated book for her senior project while attending the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan.
